PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging unit that can accurately pick up an image, such as a moving image whose luminous quantity changes by each moment. SOLUTION: Stored electric charges are outputted to a vertical transfer CCD 7a in a CCD image sensor adopting an AND type from photodetectors PDs 8b, 8d connected to 2nd phase electrodes 5b, 5d and 3rd phase electrodes 6b, 6d, when the vertical transfer CCD 7a receives read pulses from a 2nd phase power supply 2c and a 3rd phase power supply 3a in first timing.
