PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device in which the whole device can be thinned by effectively arranging a liquid crystal panel, a circuit substrate and an element for drive efficiently and electronic equipment. SOLUTION: In this device, a first electrode 9 and plural second electrodes 6 are formed respectively on a first substrate and a second substrate. An inter- substrate electric conduction member 20A connecting one part of the first electrode to the second substrate is provided between the substrates and a first electric conduction part 18 which is connected to the inter-substrate electric conduction member 20A and a second electric conduction part 16 which is connected directly to the second electrodes or is connected indirectly to the second electrodes→with the wiring parts formed on the second substrate are formed in the second substrate and, moreover, a first external electric conduction member 22A and a second external electric conduction member 22B are inserted between the substrate 2 and a circuit substrate 5 and wiring part 13, 14 connecting the first external electric conduction member 22A and the external electric conduction member 22B to an element for driving liquid crystal are formed on the circuit substrate 5.
