PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a newly-arrived information presenting method by which a user can easily obtain newly-arrived information in useful form. SOLUTION: In a system which browses an information source URL on a server computer 11 having a hyperlink structure by a client computer 21 connected to the server computer 11 by a network, the client computer 21 is equipped with a link information detection part 218 which detects link information in a specific information source URL, a reverse link information detection part 219 which detects reverse link information showing that another information source URL is reversely linked with the specific information source URL, and a link information and reverse link information database 212 which stores the detected link information and reverse link information. Link information and reverse link information which were detected last and link information and reverse link information which are detected this time are compared with each other and their difference information is presented as newly-arrived information to the user.
