The invention concerns a composite material, the method for making same and uses thereof. The inventive composite material is of the type comprising fibre bundles whereof the fibres impregnated with non-cured resin are enclosed in a sheath maintaining them and compressing them to the desired shape, the sheath being made of a flexible and closed material. The invention is particularly applicable for making bra stays or prosthetic, in particular dental, elements.
