<p>The present invention provides systems and methods (100) for an integrated graphical user interface (114) which facilitates the display and editing of non-flight plan information (304). In accordance with various aspects of the present invention, a user located within an aircraft provides input to a processor through a cursor control device (104) and receives visual feedback via a dispaly produced by a monitor (114). The display (114) includes various graphical elements associated with the lateral position, vertical position, flight-plan (302) and/or other indicia of the aircraft's operational state as determined from avionics data and/or various sources. Through use of the cursor control device (104), the user may modify the flight-plan and/or other such indicia graphically in accordance with feedback provided by the display (114). The display (114) includes non-flight-plan data (304). In accordance with another aspect of the present invention, the non-flight plan data (304) comprises data such as Top Of Climb (TOC) (304a') Top Of Descent (TOD) (304b) and the like.</p> |
