<p>A system, method and article of manufacture are provided for processing instruction of an embedded application. A microprocessor is emulated in reconfigurable logic. Control functions are also implemented in reconfigurable logic. The emulated microprocessor processes the instructions. Each instruction is processed in a minimum number of clock cycles required for accessing an external instruction and data memory.</p> |
