At least one of the two surfaces of the spectacle lens (1), front (2) and back (3) is in the form of a rotationally asymmetrical, aspherical surface which has a rotationally asymmetrical component for correcting the aberrations caused by the additional cylindrical effect towards the first and second main meridian. The front surface is spherical and the reverse surface is rotationally asymmetrical.
