The method and components for use in making frames used in vehicle construction and building comprise tubes and corner connectors (1) whose production and assembly is monitored by computer. Quality control is carried out throughout these processes using a doppler-sonographic method, or by measuring variations in an electromagnetic field passing through the components or using an electron beam.
