PURPOSE: Provided are a device and a method for the regulation of gene expression with cyclic electromagnetic field. The gene expression can be regulated by irradiating electromagnetic field which is specific to DNA or RNA sequence and generated from the device. CONSTITUTION: The method for the regulation of gene expression with cyclic electromagnetic field comprises the steps of: analyzing the pathway of free electron movement occurred between base pairs which are bound by hydrogen bond on DNA or RNA double helix, or determining sequences having biological activities through DNA or RNA data base search; and irradiating cyclic electromagnetic field specific to the sequences.
