A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary cell using a rechargable positive electrode and negative electrode and a non-aqueous electrolyte, characterized in that the electrolyte contains a combination of a plurality of electrolyte additives, preferably a combination of two or more from o-terpenyl, triphenylene, cyclohexylbenzene and biphenyl. The secondary cell is excellent in safety and storage chracteristics.
