The system has a portable electronic data acquisition device carried by a user with an RFID read/write head or bar code reader, a memory unit, a microcontroler, a GSM modem for voice, text and data, a radio telephone circuit, a PC interface and a transmitter/receiver circuit. Acquired data are temporarily stored and transmitted in real time or after a delay, periodically or event-controled to an external receiver station and stored or printed.
