The bearing journal is formed in one piece with a housing part of the switching device and has an axial bore in which a stiffening pin is inserted. The bore is blind, being closed at the free end of the bearing journal and open on housing part on the side opposite to the bearing journal. The stiffening pin is a rod without a shaft offset or groove and is made of metals.
