PURPOSE: A system and a method for the virtual purchase in an Internet shopping mall are provided to decide a purchase by closely examining the detail information for the corresponding goods through an e-mail after virtually purchasing the goods in the Internet shopping mall. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a controller(2), a member management database(3), a goods information database(4), a virtual purchasing processor(5), a virtual purchasing history processor(6) and a mail transmitting/receiving part(7). The member management database stores and manages the personal information of members registered to the shopping mall. The goods information database stores the information of a goods provided from the shopping mall. The virtual purchasing processor stores and processes the information for a user and corresponding goods in respect of the goods virtually purchased by the user. In case of executing a virtual purchase, the virtual purchasing history processor gives the points to the purchased goods and manages and processes the accumulated points. The mail transmitting/receiving part transmits the detail information for the virtually purchased goods to the corresponding user by a mail.
