<p>A strap lock (1) has a flexible strap (10) having a leading end and a trailing end. A locking device (20) includes a first strap engagement portion (30) that is capable of holding one part of the strap (10) in position with respect to the locking device (20) in a lock position thereof, and releasing the one part of the flexible strap (10) in a release position. A second strap engagement portion (40) engages another part of the flexible strap (10). A lock (50) is capable of locking the first strap engagement portion (30) in the lock position. The strap (10) is preferably woven from strands of metal and high strength polymer.</p> |
