PURPOSE: A fluorescent lamp and method for manufacturing the same is provided to minimize the stimulation of light to the user's eye by printing pictures or patterns using an eyesight protection fluorescent material onto the surface of the fluorescent lamp. CONSTITUTION: A fluorescent lamp(1) has first and second surfaces, and the inner wall of the first surface is coated with a single color fluorescent material while the second surface has end portions(2) printed with pictures(20), patterns or logos(21) using a fluorescent material having an eyesight protection color, specifically green. The other portion of the second surface of the fluorescent lamp excluding the end portions, is coated with the fluorescent material same as the fluorescent material of the first surface.
