PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for manufacturing wire mesh for a construction panel is provided which inexpensively manufactures a high grade wire mesh having superior flatness to a superior productivity without using of straightening device, a wire mesh cutter and a wire mesh flattening device. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for manufacturing wire mesh for a construction panel is characterized in that several wire supports(2) and a wire aligning stand(3) are mounted on one side of a lateral wire supplying device(4) and a spot welding device(6) which are installed at the center of a main frame(5), longitudinal wires(w1) that are precut to a length corresponding to a length of a wire mesh to be manufactured are put on the wire supports(2) with the longitudinal wires(w1) being parallel to each other, the wire aligning stand(3) not only arrays the longitudinal wires(w1) in order so that front parts of the longitudinal wires(w1) put on the wire supports(2) are positioned on the same straight line, but also transfers the longitudinal wires(w1) to the side of the lateral wire supplying device(4) and the spot welding device(6), a wire mesh transfer device(25) is mounted on the other side of the lateral wire supplying device(4) and the spot welding device(6), and the wire mesh transfer device(25) comprises a finger(27) holding the longitudinal wires(w1) and the lateral wires(w2), a chain link(28) to which the finger(27) is fixed, a driving sprocket wheel(29) and a driven sprocket wheel(29') rotating the chain link(28) and a driving motor(31) intermittently rotating the driving sprocket wheel(29).
