<p>Positive orientation systems are provided for packages formed by the combination of a container (21, 121) and closure (30, 130). In one embodiment, the invention provides a closure (21) having a plug seal (50)with at lest one plug seal lug (54) that cooperates with a container neck lug (28) formed on a shoulder (27) on an interior surface of the container neck (21). In another embodiment, at least one neck lug (128) is provided on an end of the container neck (121) and the closure body (130) is provided with at least one closure deck lug (154) extending from the closure deck (135) and adapted to engage a corresponding one of the at least one neck lug (154).</p> |
