Piston-type compressor with swash plate fixed at drive shaft for common rotation

The swash plate (15) is adjustable between a max. and a min. inclination angle with relation to the axis of the drive shaft (9), corresp. to a difference between a pressure in the crank chamber (2a) and a suction chamber (30). The swash plate controls a displacement of the compressor to a max. and min. according to the max. and min. inclination angles. A computer(C) controls the solenoid (33) of a solenoid valve (32), based on the air conditioning plant across an operating switch (40), if the temp. is equal to or lower than a set value. The compressor has an isolating element (21,24,28), for disconnecting the external circuit (35) to the suction chamber (3a), if the swash plate is at the max. inclination angle. A reducing passage (14,30,45) connects the crank chamber with the suction chamber, to reduce the pressure in the crank chamber, if this is greater than that in the suction chamber. So that the swash plate is inclined in the direction of the max. inclination. A pressure adjusting element adjusts the pressure ruling in the passage, this passage is further stopped if the swash plate has a max. inclined angle rather than between max. and min. inclination.
