Headset magnifier (1) comprises an objective system (17) with a single entrance lens (15) for a beam of light from an object (11) and two ocular systems (19) directing a partial ray of the beam of light toward an eye (3) of the observer. Preferred Features: The cross-sectional areas of the two partial rays are arranged next to each other in a cross-sectional area of the beam of light so that they do not overlap. The objective system and/or the ocular system guide each partial ray to the eye via a bent path having a region in which the light runs perpendicular to the direction of the beam of light.
