PURPOSE: An apparatus for matching an optical link using an STM(Synchronous Transport Module)-1 signal is provided to reduce the non-available time of voice service by applying an STM-1 signal to a time division switch and a space division switch. CONSTITUTION: An optical link transmitting unit(20) receives and multiplexes data from a time division switch and communication data from a processor to converts them into an optical signal. A multiplexor(12) receives 4-bit parallel data from the time division switch which transmits data thorough lines(8,9) and multiplexes the 4-bit data into 8-bit parallel data. A framing block(25) inserts a predetermined frame pattern in order to recognize starting point in an STM-1 frame structure by taking into account a timing between a system signal and an STM-1 signal. A frequency synchronization unit(17) receives a clock from a system and a feedback clock to output a phase-locked signal.
