ENTRANCE EXAMINATION APPLICATION SERVICE SYSTEM AND METHOD THROUGH PUBLIC COMMUNICATION NETWORK

PURPOSE: An entrance examination application service system and method through a public communication network is provided to supply entrance examination application information in real time so that an entrance examination applicant can conveniently execute entrance examination application through a user terminal. CONSTITUTION: An entrance examination application service system(40) is connected with a user computer(15) and a mobile terminal(10) through a public communication network. The public communication network relaying the communication between the mobile terminal(10) and the entrance examination application service system(40) consists of a base station(21), an MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(23), a WAP gateway server(25), and the Internet(27). The WAP gateway server(25) comprises a subscriber information processing part(25a). The WAP gateway server(25) executes a gateway function for data message processing and processes the text message transfer between the mobile terminal(10) and the entrance examination application service system(40). The base station(21) relays the communication between the mobile terminal(10) and the MSC(23). The MSC(23) recognizes text messages between the base station(21) and the WAP gateway server(25) and executes a line switching function. The entrance examination application service system(40) providing entrance examination application service comprises an entrance examination application service server(50) and a database(60).
