The device has a loop, fastened to the bag, with hand lever, spring elements connected to lever and bag support legs, and a bracket on the lever, with the bag carrying belt connected to it. A base plate (10) of the loop (5) has a stop (14), which is pivoted from non-active into active positions, to prevent the hand lever (11) from moving into its end position, which is secured by a dead center position. The stop is formed by a lever support itself on a stop face (11') of the hand lever, and it engages with the bracket (13).
