<p>The invention relates to a method for processing articles in the form of sheet-type material, especially securities, such as bank notes, cheques etc., wherein different groups of articles in the form of sheet-type material are consecutively processed. The aim of the invention is to dispense to a substantial extent with the need for inputting information by an operator. The inventive method is characterised in that the act of continued processing is analysed, the presence of sheet-type material is monitored in an input device and a substraction device for the respective group of articles in the form of sheet-type material is closed or opened according to the presence of said sheet-type material therein.</p> |
