The window-pane (26) is adjustably positioned in a window-frame (28) by a motor with reversible rotational direction and connected with the window-pane. The window position detection and anti-jamming system has at least one sensor and a control. At least one sensor next to the window-pane emits an output signal to which the control reacts to compare the output signal with ore-determined values for determining whether there is an obstacle between the window-pane and window-frame.
