PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting both transmit power and receive power in a base station is provided to detect the power of a received signal and the power of a transmitting signal in common using a 2:1 structured switch. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for detecting both transmit power and receive power in a base station consists of an Rx filter part(11), a variable low power amplifier(12), a Tx filter part(13), a variable attenuator(14), a switch part(15), a linear detector(16), and a non-inverse amplifier(17). The Rx filter part(11) filters an RF signal, received to the base station through an antenna(Ant), using an Rx filter or an Rx channel filter according to a detection condition. The variable low power amplifier(12) variably amplifies the power of the RF signal passed through the Rx filter part(11) in accordance with the range based on the linearity of the linear detector(16). The Tx filter part(13) filters an RF signal to be transmitted through an antenna(Ant) using a Tx filter or a Tx channel filter according to the detection condition. The variable attenuator(14) variably attenuates the power of the RF signal passed through the Tx filter part(13) in accordance with the range based on the linearity of the linear detector(16). The switch part(15) selects a power detection path using a 2:1 structured switch. The linear detector(16) converts either the received RF signal or the transmitting RF signal, inputted according to a power detection path selected at the switch part(15), into a DC voltage. The non-inverse amplifier(17) amplifies the converted DC voltage. |
