PURPOSE: A process of preparing the titled bulky continuous filament having uniform physical properties and excellent spinning workability and cutting property is provided, thereby increasing working property and reducing the loss of yarns in a tufting and shearing stage during the production of a carpet. CONSTITUTION: Fused polytrimethyleneterephthalate is melt spun at 245 to 285deg.C at a speed of 1,800 to 3,000m/min through a nozzle having a Y cross section shape and a modification ratio of 1.8 to 2.5, drawn at a drawn ratio of 3.0 to 3.5, crimped at a crimp rate of 2 to 20% and collected at 15 to 25 rounds/m. |
