A rail drilling device, comprising a rail front retainer (15) having a slide tube (25) slidably inserted into the through hole of a frame front wall (12), a female screw member (30) threaded with the slide tube (25) so that the longitudinal end part thereof is projected, and an abut-on member (48) installed at the rear end part of the female member (30) to abut on the web part of a rail (R), wherein, when the slide tube (25) is moved rearward and rotated, the forward return of the slide tube (25) is stopped and then, when the female screw member (30) is tightened, a frame (11) is fixed to the rail (R).
