An electrical supplementary heating device, especially for cars, can be built into in the air flow of the heating and/or air-conditioning plant of the car. There are inner and outer resistance wire turns (7-9) lying inside one another in a frame (2) that are wired in parallel and consist of resistance wires whose resistance value is temperature-dependent, i.e., becomes greater with increasing temperature. The frame is designed as a module that can be put together to make several. The frame contains three parallel-wired resistance turns arranged inside one another. The device is built into at least one single air opening. It is also built into the central ventilation system of the car.
