<p>Provided is an aluminum pigment being excellent in water resistance and applicative to water-base metallic coating materials, water-base metallic ink and so on. Specifically, an aluminum pigment excellent in water resistance, on which a film is formed from a peroxopolymolybdic acid represented by the compositional formula (I) MoO3.mH2O2.nH2O or MoO3-m(O2)m.nH2O (wherein Mo is molybdenum; O is oxygen; and m and n satisfy the relationships: 0 </= m </= 1 and 1 </= n </= 2 respectively) and which contains at least one amine selected from among alkylamine, allylamine, arylamine, alkanolamine and alkoxyamine.</p> |
