An agent for dyeing keratin fibers comprises a cosmetically-acceptable medium containing a dye precursor combination of a 2-chloro-4-amino-phenol (A); an aminophenol derivative (B); and a further coupler component (C) which is (i) an m-phenylenediamine derivative and/or (ii) a naphthalene derivative.
