PURPOSE: A heat exchange cycle of direct cooling type refrigerator is provided to minimize noise generated in an accumulator of the small direct cooling type refrigerator. CONSTITUTION: A cycle includes a compressor(20); a condenser(30); a capillary(40); an evaporator(50); an accumulator(60); and a looping pipe(62). The accumulator is vertically installed between the evaporator and the compressor and placed lower than the evaporator to deliver only gaseous refrigerant to the compressor. The looping pipe is installed between the accumulator and the evaporator and has a horizontal section, whose volume is equal to or larger than inside volume of the accumulator, placed under the accumulator to temporarily store fluid refrigerant in the accumulator. Noise generated by burst of bubbles of gaseous refrigerant passing fluid refrigerant in the accumulator is reduced thereby.
