PURPOSE: A bypass valve apparatus for scroll compressor is provided to achieve an improved workability by eliminating the necessity of aligning the valve piece during assembly of valve piece, while preventing deterioration of compression efficiency by reducing the dead zone. CONSTITUTION: A bypass valve apparatus comprises a valve through hole(101) formed at a fixed scroll so as to communicate a compression chamber and a discharge chamber; a refrigerant outlet channel(102) formed inclined at the fixed scroll, and which communicates the low end of the valve through hole and the discharge chamber; and a refrigerant outlet channel open/shut unit installed within the valve through hole, and which opens/shuts the lower end of the refrigerant outlet channel in accordance with the pressure ratio between the compression chamber and discharge chamber. The refrigerant outlet channel open/shut unit includes a valve piece(103) installed within the valve through hole to be movable in a vertical direction so as to open/shut the refrigerant outlet channel; a spring(104) arranged onto the valve piece, and which provides an elastic force to the valve piece when the valve piece moves upward and a restoring force to the valve piece when the valve piece moved downward; a jig piece(105) fixed to the top of the valve through hole so as to prevent the spring from being escaped; and holes(106) formed at the jig piece so as to communicate the discharge chamber to the valve through hole.
