<p>The invented electronic sewing machine for zigzag stitch sewing is intended for making stitches on a fabric by a vertical motion of a needle (3) in mutual connection with a main shaft being rotatably driven by a main motor. (1). The sewing machine comprises a fabric feeding device including a fabric feeder for its protrusion onto a fabric feeding stitch plate (4) and a mechanism (11, 12) for a needle (3) swing motion in the direction to transverse to the fabric feed. The sewing machine further comprises a memory (26) for storing data of the needle (3) swing motion, said data corresponding to a pattern of the needle (2) swing motion, a switch (46, 47) for setting a range of the needle (3) swing motion (3), and a control circuit (21, 22, 24, 25) for transformation of data regarding the needle (3) swing motion for increasing or reducing data value based on at least the set range of the needle (3) swing motion, and for making stitches having the pattern of the needle (3) swing motion based on the needle (3) swing motion transformed data.</p> |
