PURPOSE: A clip for attaching a pouch or similar equipment is provided to allow a user to easily unlock or lock, thus improving the convenience of use thereof. CONSTITUTION: The clip(10) has a base(12) hingeably attached on a lid(14), and the lid including ledges formed on the distal end has two detent prongs(78,80) with detent holes(85,86). The ledges are engaged with inverted ledges in complementary shapes on detent projecting parts(56,58) on the base. The lid is released from the base by mutually compressing the detent prongs in a direction parallel with the rotation axis between the lid and the base. As a result, the ledges can be released from the inverted ledges. Typically the base is fixed to a first strap fixable to a pouch. Typically a second strap formed as a loop on a backpack or a similar member is fixed on a fixing position between the lid and the base and thereby the pouch can be securely attached to the backpack. |
