A quick and efficient process for estimating the appearance of an original scene from a coloured blurred image of that scene, by estimating the average variation of the amplitude of the Fourier transform of the image with scale as compared with that of an ideal image, thereby estimating the amplitudes of the Fourier transform of the point spread function of the image, and deriving the phase of the Fourier transform of the point spread function by constrained minimisation. |
