PURPOSE: A device for illuminating a door handle of a vehicle is provided to recognize the door handle position in a dark place or in the nighttime by providing an additional light emitting element outside the handle part. CONSTITUTION: A device for illuminating a door handle of a vehicle includes a housing part(14) fixed to a door, a handle part(16) disposed on the housing part with a predetermined distance, and a light emitting part(20) for radiating light to the housing part in a predetermined case, wherein the light emitting part includes a remote starting-sensing part for sensing whether a vehicle is started by remote operation, a multi-functional switch operation sensing part(26) for sensing whether a multi-functional switch in a driver's room is operating, and a control unit(22) for inputting respective operation signals from the multi-functional switch operation sensing part.
