PURPOSE: A method for controlling refrigerant passage of freezing cycle with two evaporators is provided to make a stepping motor valve normally operated by detecting abnormal operation of the stepping motor valve at an early stage to execute corresponding driving. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises three steps. The first step is to check up opening and closing condition of a refrigerant piping directed to evaporators in a left and a right side chambers during operation of a compressor. The second step is to compare temperature, detected by a temperature sensor installed in one of the chamber where the open evaporator is placed, with a preset temperature. The third step is to reversely rotate a stepping motor valve to initial condition and open the stepping motor valve for refrigerant to flow into one of the evaporators in the corresponding chamber to keep the corresponding chamber at lower temperature when the detected temperature is higher than the preset temperature.
