PURPOSE: Provided are a degradable resin decomposed by a microorganism in a short time and a simple process for producing the degradable resin, which can reduce the cost of production. CONSTITUTION: The process for producing the degradable resin comprises the steps of: injecting 20-80wt% of a branched chain-structured carbohydrate polymer having an amylose or amylopectin unit, 20-40wt% of a hydrophilic resin comprising at least one selected from polyvinyl alcohol, polyacrylic acid, polyethylene acrylic acid, 5-20wt% of a lubricant, 10-30wt% of a thermoplastic resin, and 0.5-5wt% of a stabilizer into a mixer, wherein the carbohydrate polymer contains less than 8% of moisture; heating the mixture to melt and stirring the mixture; supplying the mixture to an extruder and extruding the mixture; cooling the extruded mixture in water; cutting the cooled mixture.
