PURPOSE: An advertisement and lottery offering method and system is provided to use the numbers of a telephone, a seat, an address of an administrative district, as lottery numbers, and to give goods or gifts according to a comparison between specific goods names and characters converted from the lottery numbers so that it can enhance an advertisement effect. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of combining place variables, expressing geographical or spatial positions, with time variables, changing as time passes, converting the combined value into characters based on a vowel and consonant system of a specific language, and using the converted character in a lottery. For example, a user wins a lottery if the user gets a ticket with a specific number included, and the characters corresponding to the number is identical to the name of the goods advertised in the ticket. The place variables can be seat numbers of a bus, a theater or a concert, ticket numbers, receipt numbers, phone numbers, e-mail addresses or administrative district addresses.
