PURPOSE: A spring mounting structure of a vehicle seat back is provided to simplify the mounting of a spring fixing holder and remove the noise generated between the spring fixing holder and a metal spring by forming the holder with plastic material, thereby removing any additional noise reducing element. CONSTITUTION: A spring mounting structure of a vehicle seat back includes a spring fixing holder(30) in the shape of circular plate of which outer peripheral surface is formed with gear teeth(31) and a top surface is integrated with an insertion element(32) of a length shorter than a diameter of the circular plate with holding grooves(33) at both ends, and a seat back frame(10) formed with a circular fixing element(11) with an insertion hole(12) cut traversely, wherein the spring fixing holder is inserted into the fixing element via the insertion hole and turned by 90° to be fitted in the holding grooves.
