<p>A tubular, cellulosic food casing has a coating on the inner surface thereof in an amount effective to provide a peelable casing. The coating comprises a water-soluble cellulose ether, a food grade wax and a liquid smoke with a carbonyl content of at least 16% by weight of the liquid smoke.</p> |
