PURPOSE: A portable health diagnosis device is provided to measure a heart beat rate and a respiration rate without touching with a physical body of a user by using electronic wave, and to be installed at a portable communication device, e.g. a mobile phone. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises a transmitter(110), a receiver(120), a data processor(130), and a display(140). The transmitter(110) discharges electronic waves toward a physical body. The receiver(120) receives the electronic waves reflecting from the physical body, and measures the heart beat rate and the respiration rate by using a phase difference and a frequency difference between the transmitted waves and the reflecting waves. The data processor(130) compares the measured heart beat rate and respiration rate of the user from those of a normal person, and diagnoses the health state of the user based on the comparison result. The display(140) displays the measured result and the diagnosis result. The transmitter(110) includes an oscillator, an amplifier, a power distributor, a band pass filter, and a transmission antenna. The receiver(120) includes a receiving antenna, a band pass filter, an amplifier, a mixer, and an IF amplifier. The power distributor of the transmitter(110) distributes the amplified electronic wave toward the mixer and the band pass filter. The mixer of the receiver(120) mixes signals amplified at the amplifier with signals supplied by the power distributor of the transmitter, compares the phase difference and the frequency difference between the two signals, and outputs DC voltage according to the phase and the frequency difference. |
