PURPOSE: Provided is a semiconductor ceramic having good moldability and a negative temperature coefficient of resistance highly reliable under a high-humidity environment. CONSTITUTION: The semiconductor ceramic is prepared by adding 0.1 to 20 mol% AMnO3 (A is at least one kind among Ca, Sr, Ba, La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy and Ho) to a spinel-base multi component oxide consisting of a solid solution of Mn and at least one kind among Ti, V, Cr, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Mg and Al and has the negative temperature characteristic. The perovskite Mn multi component oxide includes CaMnO3, SrMnO3, BaMnO3, LaMnO3, PrMnO3, NdMnO3, SmMnO3, EuMnO3, GdMnO3, TbMnO3, DyMnO3 and HoMnO3.
