PURPOSE: A method for limiting the sending function of an MS(Mobile Station) using SMS(Short Message Service) is provided to restrict an arbitrary use of a lost MS using the functions of SMS. CONSTITUTION: A control part in an MS, a user's lost terminal, judges whether a short message is received(100). If a short message is received, the control part analyzes the received short message(102) and judges whether the received message is an instruction(106). In case that the received short message is an instruction, the control part judges whether the received instruction is a command to limit the sending function of the MS(110). If the received instruction is to limit the sending function of the MS, the control part restricts the sending function of the MS(114). |
