PURPOSE: A public PC for coin is provided to be used anywhere and installed without a manager. CONSTITUTION: The public PC for coin consists of a computer that processes a lock signal or unlock signal from an input device, a coin reader(13) that sends a price signal according to the received coins, a control and arithmetic unit(11) that sends a lock signal or unlock signal to the computer through a communication interface to operate PC for a given period. The PC can have the vending unit(35) that has a vending control unit(31) to send the price signal from the control and arithmetic unit to the vending unit for selling other products like gums. The PC also has a data security module(27) to protect the protect program that is established to operate the PC. The protect program include one of an OS, communication software to connect Internet or other external networks(40), and a display program that displays advertisements or information about the pc even in locked situation.
