APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING GREEN BEAM DROP PHENOMENON IN DEFLECTION YOKE

PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing a green beam drop phenomenon in a deflection yoke is provided to prevent easily the green beam drop phenomenon by improving a coma-free correction coil installed on an upper face of a coil separator. CONSTITUTION: A coma-free correction section(18) is mounted on an upper face of a neck portion(11) of a coil separator. A correction coil(19) is wound around the coma-free correction section(18). The coma-free correction section(18) is used for correcting a VCR mis-convergence phenomenon generated by magnetic field of a horizontal and vertical deflection coil. The first and the second auxiliary coils(32,33) are wound around both sides of the coma-free correction section(18) in order to match a G-beam scanned from an electron gun with an R-beam and a B-beam scanned from the electron gun.
