The proposed automobile spoiler consists of an internal supporting skeleton (1) based on sandwich, which is as a whole by at least a portion of its surface encapsulated in a wrapping (2) based on polymeric material. The sandwich, forming the spoiler skeleton has total thickness within the range of 6 to 40 mm and is formed by at least two cover layers (3) of a material having minimum modulus of elasticity in tension 6000 MPa and at least by one layer of a core having the form of honeycomb (4), being disposed between the cover layers (3) and being coupled with each layer through the mediation of an intermediate layer. The sandwich cover layers can be preferably represented by metal sheets; plates based on polymeric materials, optionally combinations thereof. As the metal sheets there are used particularly aluminium sheets, respectively aluminium alloy sheets with thickness ranging from 0.3 to 3 mm and/or steel sheets with thickness of 0.2 to 2 mm. Plates based on polymeric materials can be particularly represented by plates of glass laminates (glass fabrics impregnated with polyester, phenolic, or epoxy resins). The honeycomb (4) of the sandwich core is made preferably of aluminium sheet, respectively aluminium alloy sheet with thickness of 0.02 to 0.5 mm. The interconnecting polymeric intermediate layers of the sandwich can be preferably represented by layers based on epoxy resin, polyurethane or phenolic resin. The spoiler wrapping (2) polymeric material is preferably an expanded polymer material, particularly expanded polyurethane.
