摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A device of estimating a hybrid-type high speed movement is provided to perform an OPGS(One-Pixel Greedy Search) process on a predicted position by predicting a motion vector, and to compensate a failed prediction by an HSBMA(Hierarchical Search Block Matching Algorithm) to prevent an error, so as to reduce the amount of calculation as maintaining high accuracy. CONSTITUTION: A candidate vector predictor(110) inputs video data to predict a candidate motion vector for a macro block, and finally selects a motion vector showing an optimum matching as the candidate motion vector. An algorithm selector(120) compares an SAD(Sum of Absolute Difference) of the predicted candidate vector with a preset critical value, and selects one of an OPGS or an HSBMA. A motion estimator(130) performs a full pixel motion estimation of video data inputted by the OPGS or the HSBMA. A memory(140) stores an estimated full pixel motion value, and applies the stored value to the candidate vector predictor(110). A semi pixel motion estimator(150) estimates semi pixel motions of a 16 times 16 macro block and an 8 times 8 sub block from the inputted video data in reference to a location of the estimated full pixel motion value.</p>
