STRETCHER

PURPOSE: A stretcher is provided to achieve a uniform tension all over the object to be stretched by allowing a holder plate supporting both ends of the object to move in a stretching direction. CONSTITUTION: A stretcher comprises a stretching unit, a power unit for supplying power to the stretching unit, and a work table(60) where holder plates(10) and the stretching unit are installed. The stretching unit includes four holder plates, each of which is constituted by a plurality of blocks(40), a clamp(44), a shaft(45), a roller(20) and a support plate(11). Each of the blocks includes an upper plate(41) and a lower plate(42) for fixing an end of the object to be stretched. The blocks are arranged at a constant interval so as to apply a uniform fixing force to the end of the object to be stretched. The blocks are arranged to be movable in the stretching direction. The clamp is fixed to an end of the lower plate, such that the spacing between the upper plate and the lower plate of the block is adjusted by the clamp. The shaft is inserted into a penetration(43) formed at the lower plate of the block, and has caps arranged at both ends of the shaft so as to prevent escape of the block.
