The turbine rotor stage consists of a thin rim (3) with a series of peripheral blades (5). The rim comprises a section made from a metal alloy with at least one fibre reinforcing ring (15) with fibres running in a peripheral direction relative to the turbine's axis of rotation (2). The height of the reinforcing rings is equivalent to at least 1.5 times their width, and they project from the inner surface of the rim by a distance equal to at least a third of their height, with each ring welded to the rim by the edges of two opposite faces. The turbine stage is made from a ring blank fitted with alternating machined reinforcing rings and spacers and placed in a vacuum chamber at isostatic pressure and heated to the metal alloy's isothermic forging temperature. |
